In the middle of a quiet jungle, where the trees were tall and the rivers clear, lived two birds—Saira and Kyle. They had spent many years together. Saira was a cheerful bird, full of energy, while Kyle was thoughtful. He loved her deeply, but sometimes his words were sharp, and his anger showed.
One day,She had a fight with Kyle in the Morning, Saira was feeling sad and lonely, she met a bear in the jungle. The bear was kind and playful. He spoke to her in a way that made her feel happy and special. He even called her "Deer" once, making her laugh. Saira, who was missing Kyle’s affection, started talking to the bear often. When she was with the bear, she sometimes forgot he wasn’t Kyle. She would share her feelings with him as if he was her partner, and it made her feel like she was understood.
Bear thought she could love him and leave Kyle. Saira didn’t mean to give him hope, but her actions made him believe there was something more between them.
One evening, Saira returned to Kyle with a heavy heart. She looked at him and said, “Kyle, why don’t you love me like the bear does? He listens to me, he cares for me, and he makes me feel wanted. Why can’t you be like that?”
Kyle’s feathers ruffled, and his voice grew sharp. “Saira, how can you say that? My love is not in words—it’s in the way I’ve stayed with you through everything. The bear doesn’t know you like I do. He doesn’t know your fears or the way you hum when you’re happy. How can you compare what we have to something so new?”
Saira felt tears in her eyes. “But Kyle,” she said softly, “I think I’ve hurt you and the bear. I didn’t mean to, but I let the bear believe there was something more. Now he keeps saying I gave him hope.” Saira's inner voice played an important role here.
Kyle sighed, his voice calm but sad. “Saira, I made mistakes too. Many years ago, I spoke to a pigeon who thought she could love me. I enjoyed her company, but when I saw she had feelings, I made it clear to her that we could never be together. I didn’t let her hope for something that wasn’t real. You, Saira, didn’t stop the bear. You let him think there was a chance.”
Saira felt her guilt grow heavier. “I didn’t mean to hurt anyone, Kyle. I don’t know why I talked to the bear like that. Maybe I was lonely. Maybe I wanted to feel loved in a way I didn’t feel with you anymore.”
Kyle looked at her with soft eyes. “Saira, I have always loved you. But love isn’t always easy. You felt something was missing, but instead of talking to me, you went to someone else. If you want us to be happy, you have to stop looking for love somewhere else.”
Saira nodded, but inside, she was still confused. She thought about the bear’s words, about how he said she gave him hope. She thought about Kyle and the love they had shared for so long. But her guilt and sadness didn’t go away.
That night, Saira flew to a tall tree and sat under the stars. She thought about everything—the bear, Kyle, and herself. She loved Kyle, but she didn’t know how to fix what had happened.
Kyle stayed in their nest, his heart aching. He loved Saira and wanted her to come back, but he also knew she needed to understand her own feelings.
In the quiet jungle, the two birds stayed apart, each trying to find their way back to the love
they once had.
